atm I have to say that I'm somehow not really sure anymore if I should fill/darken the hole piece though...looks great as is imo but I think it also is going to look badass when the shadows are done...opinions?

You may enjoy it some weeks as it is now and then get the shadowing and take it further from there with filling. But I am sure your Artist will blow you away with his work.
well the next session we made for adding the shadows and all is on 22.12. so still a month to go with just the outlines…should be enough to think it over (read: to enjoy them outlines till they get filled!)...

Haaaaaa!!!! I was thinking it too. It will always look half done otherwise. You'll get through it and for me shading is always more comfortable than line work. Going to look awesome coloured in.

just got back from Paris and I finally got to see a clearer and better picture of finn's tattoo. looks fantastic mate! love the owl and her wide-spread wings looks beautiful! can't wait to see it with colors.

^ no colors I'm affraid mate, just letting my artist darken the whole piece and that's it…I just think that colors wouldn't really match my skin tone and all! want to keep it simple...
oh okay but anyway, a pic of the finished art would be very much appreciated mate.

Well 3 hrs and a meal later the shading is done. Taking a month off then colour goes in. Pics after bandage removal and a wash.
