@Alex Are there any pics of the throat latch for the modified version, and do you think S B could do the jacket in a Black dyed outer ?

@Alex I’ve asked them about doing a B3 previously in a black sheepskin so I assume It could be done, oh and with black taping.

Just spoken to SB, @organisys and they say, yes they can do it with a vintage black and black taping.

As you may or not may have heard we had some minor snow and temperatures dropping over here in Germany.
I decided to take her out on a spin and everything went great!

Just one flaw....the jacket is so damn warm...

I ordered the modified version, (thanks, @meckintosh) with a few dimensional tweaks and an extra button for the throat latch. Oh plus I know @Giles doesn't do black leather jackets…..well, I don't do brown, so It's black all the way!

I deliberately went for a long and roomy fit as want to wear sweaters, uhf etc under.

Construction is fantastic!

And yeah, the construction is great. I cant wear mine unless ist like minus 5 degrees. Its so warm and comfy… I love it!

I did the school run on Friday morning in mine, its about a 10 min walk. It was 3.5 deg C and I had to unzip the jacket, toasty and comfy!

This looks great!  Any fit pics yet?  Did you do the knit inner arm cuffs, or leave standard?

Hey, my life is pretty crazy at the mo, so no fit pics yet, but yes I did the storm cuffs, throat latch, inner packets, side entry outer pockets.

Oh, I forgot one thing…. the zipper is fantastic, nicely over engineered YKK! With IH Branding.
I love this, as crappy zippers really piss me off!
