That was my conclusion too.  You can wash a flannel, the wool you have to fuss with more.  Plus, wool's warmer than I need.  Sure do like them though…

me too, I love the black and grey CPO.  I may grab it when it gets cold but there are a few jackets that are higher on my list

No major differences.  06 completely unbrushed, 20 multiple brushed, totally different feel…...

You'll love it.  The blue's still my favorite of all the IH heavy flannels.  My other blues older and has a lot of wear.  These look better with age for sure.
