IHWE-PO - Iron Heart Int'l x Wesco® - 8" Rough-Out Burlap Pull-On Boot

Thought I'll make a quik head to head comparison. The Build 5 I have since 3 month, the TBWE-PO is worn only a week. Maybe this helps someone who is undecided which one to get?

With the grey card I tryed to get the colors as close as possible.

That's how they evolved so far…absolutly comfortable to wear...love them!

Hey G, I am in talks with Chris over at wesco about getting a pair of these made with a 10 inch height and some cinchers at the top (like an engineer style at the top).

He said he had to check in to see if they had the material to make the heels….do you know if these require something special for the heel?

The heel rubber is very thin on these boots, much thinner than their normal heel rubber.

I just keep staring at the last remaining pair…on sale...in my size... taunting me.

Last year I bought the rough out engineers as a "concession" to not being able to swing the cost of these. Now there they are, reminding me that immediate gratification is a bittersweet pill...

On a side note... anyone know if these run wider than the standard 1950s engineer cut?

Hey @appfaff

The IHWE-PO is built on the #65 which compared to the majority of the other lasts runs about 1/2 a size larger in the length. In regards to width on the #65 it very similar to the MP95 which across the board feels very standarised, apart from the heel pocket which is slightly wider. When compared to a 1950's cut I couldn't tell you, I would have to have a word with @Chris at Wesco who may be able to shed some light here…
