How much would you say the fabric stretches in the waist? Does the fabric feel a little warmer than the 21 oz?

Hi guys- long time lurker but finally I am ready to jump in on the IH wagon! I am looking to buy these but realize there is some fair stretch. My waist measures 32 so would it be right to order the tag size 31 or go even further down to the 30? Also, with hemming I usually go with a 30 length so they sit correct on my boots but have read on here it's better to add an inch as they shorten from behind the knee.
I'm hoping living in a warm southern climate that I can withstand the 17oz denim! Thanks! @Giles -
Not many of us on here rocking these eh? Just got my new ones fresh back from a taper below the knee and about to become my new daily wear.

Yeah lovin’ this denim. Nice & smooth w/a bit of nep. Feels light almost like 14 oz and pretty breathable. Love the indigo hue on these.

@RoxRocks86 I love the "N" denim, have a pair of the IH-555N (that are a bit big for me

@neph93 were your 555Ns too big from the start? These were snug when I got them but now the top block is quite loose. Haha and about the headless fit pics…idk, man. Waiting for the timer makes taking pics awkward. Most of my shots have my natural resting bitch face expression
Plus if i’m in the backyard my hair is whipping back and forth from the wind.@rocket obviously they’re not. Idk bout dem haole’s sometimes ::)

They were 555 so my choice there is between a loose waist and nicely fitted thigh or a fitted waist and tight thigh (with attendant crotch blowout after three months). I went with the former so they're good to wear with shirts but not so much with vests and tee's as the top block is very loose now. I lost some weight as well which didn't help.

Lol, idk what you read but it mostly refers to a white person. They could be born and raised in Hawaii, be more local than a local & still be called haole.
