tried wearing my boss's with the insole for the first time in a couple of weeks today..
my foot looks like a sausage and its nearly unbearable to walk in.might have to just sell these ones to someone and try again. would the wesco boss's in 8EE be slimmer than their jobmasters?

I suspect it is more a function of the restricted instep room you have on the Boss. Does that make sense?

Yeah it does- it hurts most in the arch of my foot right where the instep is boa constrictoring (yep just turned that snake into a verb) my foot.
maybe i'm just not meant to wear non-laced boots

@summ3rhays- actually, I do own two black pairs, a pair of boots with sentimental value that I've worn once in the last 5 years and a pair of dress shoes that I wear only with a tux or dark suits, thus about once a year.

If you really want a pair of Bosses I suggest you get the custom build. It will fit your foot perfectly.

well, at least custom ordered through baker boots, after kyle got a drawing of my foot…

Damn, that sucks @bubbapest I've never ordered through Baker's. The custom fit option from Wesco is really detailed, you measure your instep and pretty much every part of both feet. And they keep your measurements on file for future builds. I think you can also update it if your feet change. It costs $100 but seems worth it if you're planning on buying a few pairs over the years.

The Jobmaster is much more forgiving, last is the same, but the Boss doesn’t have the gusset over the instep of the foot that is thinner and adjustable by laces…….just the two layers of thick vamp and vamp liner…..on the Boss

yeah i had to do that for bakers boots, but maybe i should just do it for wesco and send it to them.. or giles if he'll be placing the order for me
