To explain, Matt and I measured these yesterday - we took (at least) one pair each and we did find some small variations (and generally published average to smaller size, although in most cases we were no more than 0.2" or 0.3" adrift).

Erring on the side of caution, if we found differences in thigh or knee measurements, we published the smaller size on the chart.

It's fair to say that - especially with the larger tag sizes - there were some differences that could be significant for the wearer, so if you plan to try these jeans but want us to check specific dimensions (e.g. highest rise, widest thigh/knee) then please note this in your order (or email us to check if we can find a pair to suit before you order, bearing in mind that orders will be processed first).

@madmonday Same right now mate. Might move on a pair of Samurai 710s to make room when I have the time. Got a pair of 555-01, 634S still going and a pair of Skull 5010xx. May wait on some fit pics before deciding too. See how people find the rise (it's an obsession ffs!). Reckon you should buy some first so I can see how they look

There is more taper from the knee to the hem and a lower rise. And although the sizing chart doesn't quite show it there's more room in the top block too, which accentuates the taper nicely.
