      @hugothecowboy. Its difficult to speculate of what caused it. Seems like that's an area that was rubbing against something when you were wearing it. In time when it starts fading I don't think you will notice it anymore and it will blend in.

          @hugothecowboy if it's from the wash and not wear, you could try soaking first next time then wash. Happened with my 777 21. The marks disappeared within the next wash or two and hasn't happened since then by soaking before wash

            I figured because before washing these marks were not there. But thank you for giving me hope 😁😄 i will do the pre soak next time. Thank yku @wjw

              @Graham Has there ever been a consideration to make a modified Type 3 vest with the 14 oz fabric? I do own the 21 oz overdyed vest and it’s a fabulous option in the Texas heat. A 14 oz indigo vest (or even the 21 oz indigo) would also be excellent.

                        @ZackB it was a Covid project. 111 hours of labor, all completely done by hand; I don’t own a sewing machine. Named it after my dad who loved leather. That’s pretty much it!
