Silly question my Whites SD in black dress leather seem as if when scuffed they are showing brown? Same is happening to my IHB-02. Is the leather brown and dyed black?
pretty sure its how its dyed.

i have that same exact "issue" with the right shoe as you do. Hows your fit? (…)
The fit in mine is fine. It is slightly narrower than the various other 9E-boots I have from White's, but still good and within acceptable variety. I am also fine with the tongue and can't feel the laces cutting through. I do feel the seam of the tongue, but that also isn't a problem. As for the slight imbalance, I measured it up and the tip of the wing on the outside of the right shoe is 5mm higher on the shoe, the inner is exactly symmetric with the left inner. I guess they align those and then just sew the upper leather bit on.

Props to him for helping me out. I love the oxfords so much though, so comfortable once they break in a bit and start flexing. We need to establish an Oxford Mafia. So far its you, Mega and myself. Maybe Seul will get jumped in at some point ::)

More like a stomp, I'm wearing them right now at work, and when I came down the office status this morning the receptionist said to me "bloody hell, I thought there were 5 of you coming down with all that noise".

430 or 700. 700 is more suitable for urban use, the 430 is good for the occasional off-road excursion. I have 700 on mine now and like it, might get the 430 next time around though
