Ok, Christmas beer order Phase 3, from ….

      http://www.beermerchants.com

I'm looking at the following, is there anything here to be avoided?

      Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel
      St Bernadus Christmas
      La Chouffe N'Ice
      Bush Noel
      Abbaye des Rocs Noel

I'm also going to order some more Delerium Christmas, some Peche Mel for the wife and a few Oerbier because it's great  😃

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

Good choices, but avoid La Chouffe N'Ice

I had one sip of it, and poured it in the sink… It uses some kind of artificial sweetener... Absolutely appalling...

Oh: and I've been trying to score some SB Christmas... Geers didn't have it yet... But it should be good  🙂

Bottle shared with my brother… Next... Can't choose... But I think Oerbier is a better follow-up to the Orval than the Stille Nacht...

Geuze Cuvée Réné: fancy label but shite geuze.

Seul doesn't like it, but I do.  Not my favorite, but I still enjoy it.  You can be the Triumvirate tie breaker.

I kinda liked it at first, then I had it again after a decent geuze… It bombed massively...

First impressions are very similar to Cantillon, slightly more citrus with a mild chalky after taste.

Me too… I had a bottle of Pannepot Grand Reserva 2 years ago and didn't like it... I preferred blond beer over brown then... Didn't like geuze... And so on... It's an interesting evolution...
