Wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite (ranks up there tho), but I do enjoy Samuel Smith products. I especially like the Taddy Porter.

Just drinking a Hendricks Straffe Quadrupel. This plus the effects of jet lag have almost induced a coma on me. Big to Pig Man for the hook up  😃

What did you think of Hansa, I drank quite a bit of it on a trip to Norway a few years back…..it was nothing special in my opinion, but at Norwegian beer prices it was almost reasonable at £8 ($12) a pint.

The Hansa was OK, preferred the Borg, but had to have 4 or 5 to decide 😉

Realised that I never gave my opinion of the Straffe Hendricks. Well, I was never sold on the big love for Belgian beers, but this totally changed things for me, amazing beer with a beautiful strong, dark, heavy taste.

I'm saving my second Seul bottle for the CSM, when I will celebrate the arrival of the MBB's, and commencement of the HWDC on April 1st  😃

I will have to ship you some Rochefort 10 though… Because:

                                    • I shipped you Rochefort 8 as I was out of 10
                                    • 8 is good, 10 is better
                                    • SH quadrupel is good, 10 is (much) better
                                    • tbh there aren't many beers better than 10 (that are regularly found in Belgium, I mean), except for the Gouden Carolus "Cuvée van de keizer" blue ribboned big bottles... This of course being a very personal opinion...
