Da der Stoff ein sogenannter „Shrink to fit“ Denim ist, verhält sich die Hose in einer Wäsche bei 40 Grad Wäsche wie folgt:

Bundweite läuft ca. 3cm ein (durch das Tragen wird sie wieder ca. 2cm weiter)
Oberschenkel wird ca. 2cm schmaler
Leibhöhe verliert ca 1,5cm
Knie und Beinöffnung wird ca. 1cm schmaler
Länge wird ca. 5cm kürzer

shrinkage 40°C wash:
Waist ca. 3cm, will stretch back around 2cm
Thigh ca. 2cm
Rise ca. 1,5cm
Knee + Hem ca. 1cm
Inseam ca. 5cm

Measured the Iron Heart way:

Giles….634 is the only jean with a thigh big enough but the rise is too short on most of the 634 lately. Too bad...guess it saves me money. Please make the new 18 oz vintage with more rise.

After failing to find DC4, I decided to visit Burg & Schild in the mean time. Made a bee line for the IH collaboration Tee. Then saw a jacket from Rogue Territory. Which was very nice. While I was deliberating: “would you like a coffee or beer while you’re thinking?” Hmm “Whisky” :).

Went by Burg & Schild on Monday to check it out…
Great looking store with a nice and varied selection of different brands.
I found it somewhat understocked with IH items, but then I'm totally spoiled
by the selection @Kentaurus in Cologne. I ended up buying the Indigofera Safe Haven blanket…
Had to have that one !

IRON HEART SUMMER PARTY JUNE 29th

We are super thrilled to host a very special Iron Heart Happening at Burg & Schild Berlin on June 29th from 1.00 pm- 11.00 pm. 
The team from Iron Heart International is going to present a hand- picked preview of Iron Heart´s Spring 2020 collection, complemented by an Obbi Good pop-up store. It´s going to be epic- and you definitely don´t wanna miss this!
Ice cold beer will be served all day long, topped by some juicy venison burgers in the evening.
