I have exact the same build, except tzhat it's black waxed flesh. I think yours look great and they will surely age pretty fast and then look more brownish. I think the colour would work best with Brown chinos or black jeans but see no Problem in wearing them with blue jeans.

The jeans I wore today are my 25oz Beatle Busters that I have barely broken in so there has been no shrinkage in terms of hem or inseam. Seems like not the best choice for these boots.
I think I am going to experiment with these a bit and see where they fit in terms of my gear.

I think those olive Viberg 310 look cool, @Dstauffer. Wear them without hesitation. I think they are great, and work with denim just fine. You might try a pair with a little less stacking, but you can pull them off with your normal stacks, no problem. Just my take.

I know, I know. I'm actually not that anal on the whole, but boots and bottoms plague me. I think it goes back to my time wearing lots of sneakers. The trouser/sneaker interface was a big thing.
I may be projecting my own idiosyncrasies here, but I have a pair of work boots not dissimilar to D's (nowhere near as nice) and I can't wear them with my BB's or 634's, but with my 555's it's good. Oddly I like them with rolled combats/cargoes too. Go figure [emoji57]

FIT CHECK: TSPTR x John Lofgren Vest... olive colorway...
I bought this vest in both size M and L... my chest measurements are right at 41" around. The size M measures to around 44" and the L about 46"... Feel wise, the L feels a bit more comfortable to wear than the M. The M is a little snug through the waist and I feel like the length of the L is better... I can definitely feel the tightness through the waist in the M whereas the L has a little more room insiide. That being said, I'm new-ish to wearing outerwear vests and not exactly sure how they are supposed to fit. What do you guys think? Large or medium or can't tell the difference?

My Moonstars came with black laces to match the black detailing around the ankle opening.
I am experimenting with ecru laces . . . . . Thoughts?

@den1mhead +2 the ecru look great. They look like marginally wider laces too unless that is one of those colour difference illusions?
That said the black look good too. Bottom line, I really like those Moonstar with the Purcell type toe. I've not seen them for sale by any of the usual UK suppliers

@Stuart.T - I bought the white and the blue Moonstars, both with Purcell type toes, from a guy on ebay who bought them from Beams Shinjuku Japan
