First World Problems

While not as extreme maybe as a Carrot, the second batch of 777 might get you close?
Need something a bit more exciting than 21 oz denim…

First world problems; my thought this morning, "I only have enough legs to wear one pair of jeans at a time."
-
The only problem with that is if I put a pair of jeans over the 666 XHS I'm working on right now I'm not sure moving around like a normal human will be possible.

Nope, Dublin Dr. Pepper is no more.
Guinness should do the honourable thing by stepping in and opening a micro-brewery on the premises.

I bought beef gravy by mistake to have with my chicken dinner
-
I did the same thing recently Mega, only it was onion gravy. I feel for you…

All of my favorite IH items are too warm for consistent wear in the summer.

Ok, so my TV has gone kaput and I'm in the market for a new one. Around 40", so not some monstrous room-filler.
Is it worth spending the extra to get 4K Ultra HD compatibility? Obviously the screen-size isn't going to be enormous, so are the extra pixels going to be dead money? If not, how much content are we likely to see imminently that can take advantage of the increased resolution (I'm in the UK and am on the BT/YouView service).
In terms of kit, I'll be hooking it up to a blu-ray player an Xbox 360 (which get played pretty rarely, though MGS V has me tempted…)
Any recommendations?

Ivan Glasenberg had a bad day. He lost $500 million, and is down nearly $6 billion since the middle of last year.
Before you feel too sorry for him, he's still worth $1.4 billion!

@GingerMagician I'm not sure how worthwhile 4K is at this stage. I think it's still in the process of being standardised, and it'd be like buying a HD TV when they first came out, in that the specs might change.
That said, there are an increasing number of sets that do UHD, so you might get it for a relatively small premium.
I had an enormous Samsung flat panel when I was back in the UK, and that worked well, but the UI was a bit clunky. I'd be happy to get another one. I do like the design of their Serif TV that's coming soon.

Thanks for the reply @Graeme - have pretty much decided that the difference is better invested in a decent soundbar.
