      @Chris:

      Size 10D

      Thank you,

looks like 10D is slightly bigger than my regular size.
the insole that I have posted is from a winter boots that has syntetic fur insulation, which reduce the inside capacity of the boot. so, I think that it maybe better to start with 9.5D size…

does anybody have 9.5 size of any Wesco boots here?

        Cleaned them today.

I'll have them for two month now and wear them in rotation with my other boots. I'am so glad I bought them!

Today they are more for show than anything else. Engineers were based in cavalry boots and originally you would wear them outside your trousers and buckle the tops tight around the pants so your they wouldn’t flap when riding.

wierdly, I actually use the upper and lower straps on my engineers everytime. I cinch them tight to keep the tops from pushing out on my jeans, and I like the snug fit on the arch.

What would be if you would not tight up lower strap? Would you still be able to wear them?

Or would not loose it before putting them off?

@Bulatik85 - I need to tighten and loosen the lower strap every time I put them on/off. That is the only way I can keep my heel in place as I walk and avoid my heel lifting/rubbing with each step. In fact, I started using the second-to-last hole when they were new, and now I'm using the very last hole.

I guess I must have a very 'low volume' foot because lengthwise they are perfect. Guess I should clarify that my info pertains to a Viberg engineer boot, and not a Wesco.

                                        The journey is the objective.

Couple of questions while I am waiting for my boots.
This will be my first engineers and I would like to clarify couple of things while waiting for them.

the major question for me is how to understand that size is correct:
                                            1. should the feel good at the first wear, or I would need some time before they will break in?
                                            2. should they feel slightly tight at the first try and then strech a little after some wear to comfort feel?
                                            3. should they feel good even without tighting any strap?

sounds like a bunch of stupid questions  😃 but I really want to be sure that I received the correct sizing, because I have a choise to take half-size smaller(for example). and don't try to deal with wrong size boots(i guess you could exchange unused boots, but you can't do it with used boots, that is why it looks very important to me to understand this before the actual wear).
