Rough out is more common with the burlap, but yeah, they do smooth side, too. It's actually a bit sueded; 4c posted some pics recently of his in the Wesco thread.

The rough out looks way better though, imo. Love a light coloured boot in rough out.

I love the look of the smooth out burlap. One day I'll get a boot in burlap smooth and they will get dirty as all hell.

You can have anything you want if you are prepared to wait a few months…..These things are built to order.  I am doing about 10 "custom" pairs at the moment....including a black rough out.  May even be doing a black smooth out.  I have forgotten....
