Qinhan - Where there's a will, there's a way! In HK you quickly become adept at avoiding anywhere without air-conditioning, haha. I will say that the unlined CXL is also relatively comfortable in hot-weather.

I can't understand the dudes out here that can wear overbuilt Smoke Jumpers however…

Though I don't have that version, I own Viberg's leather sole 110 boondockers and The Real McCoy corded sole boondockers (N-1s).

I can say that, asides from the aesthetic, the corded sole offers a great level of comfort when walking and seems really durable.

Does anyone know the last Viberg are using for their version?

looks almost like the 2040 or 2045 to me!? @Aries
the first/original boondocker is built on the 2030 last (see www.superdenim.com) and the newer boondocker version is built in the 2045 last (see www.viberg.com)!
