I'm still a little confused on the differences. Are these smoke jumpers or service boots? I really like this look for a blue, maybe with a rough out on the front? I don't know why I'm in love with that blue leather.

Okay, after much detailed research, aka google image searching, I've realized these are service boots. Man I love those boots.

Those are nice boots. Im not sure I agree with Viberg's recent usage of that sole though. Seems odd on anything other that a Tricker or other British boot. The color is fantastic though. I like how Viberg (on their blog at least, lol if any of them are actually available) is using Latigo leathers.

Apparently the boot I inquired about is no longer being made. It was only posted on the blog one month ago….hmmmm
yea, Im baffled by this as well. Most of the shit they post is unobtanium.

Long story nate! I ve worn it about 3-4 times the week for 1 year.
They were resoled by a local shoemaker in my hometown Berlin which Burg & Shild (the store which did this collab with viberg) has assigned. The shoemaker made a mistake at first. After 5 weeks i get them back with the rubber sole Redwing uses for their Ironranger model. I gave it back and the shoemaker had to built up a complete new sole looking like the original. Finally after 4 more weeks he was ready and in my opinion the result looks as sick as before.;) -

What is the wait time? About 3 months?

im not sure what their current wait time is. I can hardly handle White's respectable 8 week build time. Im not sure I could stomach Viberg or Russell's build times.

I would imagine orders through G have some priority or something. Whatever, I have a lot of patience. I have been waiting for 1.5 years for a screenprinted shirt I ordered. Guy keeps saying he will get to it…

Could be worse- I have a pair of boots that I ordered October 2011 that won't be ready until March 2013.
That's a unique case though; custom bootmaker in a two man shop. Too many customers for him to handle…
That tee shirt thing would probably bug me, though.:)
