I'm still a little confused on the differences. Are these smoke jumpers or service boots? I really like this look for a blue, maybe with a rough out on the front? I don't know why I'm in love with that blue leather.

Service boots typically have a narrower toe box

Those are nice boots. Im not sure I agree with Viberg's recent usage of that sole though. Seems odd on anything other that a Tricker or other British boot. The color is fantastic though. I like how Viberg (on their blog at least, lol if any of them are actually available) is using Latigo leathers.

I was considering a pair of the Collaboration Smoke Jumpers in the colour way that Joe posted, albeit in rough out. But I'd be asking if they could get a Dainite Ridgeway sole instead.

Long story nate! I ve worn it about 3-4 times the week for 1 year.
They were resoled by a local shoemaker in my hometown Berlin which Burg & Shild (the store which did this collab with viberg) has assigned. The shoemaker made a mistake at first. After 5 weeks i get them back with the rubber sole Redwing uses for their Ironranger model. I gave it back and the shoemaker had to built up a complete new sole looking like the original. Finally after 4 more weeks he was ready and in my opinion the result looks as sick as before.;)
