I have a 2007 Ducati Sport Classic 1000s. Pretty fun. The only way to commute. It's the old school cafe racer inspired, but with modern brakes & suspension. Do you ride?

That is a lovely model, have ridden a bright ass yellow one many times from Melbourne to Phillip Island for the GP and SBK.  Comfortable, practical.
Nothing in the garage for me other than a heap of TY175 parts, a project XS400 and W650.  A MG Cali Classic smashed my ankle a few yrs back, so havent ridden anything for a good while.

Sorry to hear about your ankle. Sounds like some serious projects you have going. Have you posted pics in the MC thread?  There are so many great bikes in there I haven't even gotten halfway through.

for a pocket/carry notebook I have found these to be the best, from synthetic paper they hold up to abuse, dirt, moisture, etc that quickly deteriorates regular notebooks
they also provide a little protection to a phone in the pocket
