Can I ask your height/chest size?

I'm 171cm's 79kg and chest is 43. (short and chunky)
Shoulders on this jacket could be just a bit broader for me (that's why I quite often have to buy 44 shirts/jackets) and sleeves are quite tight at forearm (I had a pendleton-like shirt and a henley underneath) Besides of those I like it very much.  Definately a keeper.

BTW, tested in -20°C and approved.

I went up on size because I like my down to fit over multiple layers if needed but like I said that looks good on you

Yup, it's a large. (and I have quite broad shoulders) In a shop I would have got the XL
No room in the sleeves to layer more. But as I said it's OK, and in milder temps with just t-shit or henley it should be topnotch. And can't complain about the price.

They won't take me back tO UNIFIL, too old for that…

1.  It's made of corduroy
2.  There is a considerable element of manliness missing

I think seul would do well in a kilt though

Fit looks good Jack!  I'm surprised it got to you pretty quickly.
Layering with your favorite lightweight IH Flannel goes perfectly since this jacket retains a lot of body warmth.
