Here's me trying in vain to grab the collars of two very fast dogs today. A colleague and I were going for a stroll on our corporate campus and I ran into these two dogs…I was trying to catch them but they proved to be elusive -- which is surprising because most dogs LOVE me and typically gallop on over, smiling, drooling full-speed toward me (often knocking me down on my ass). These two Vizlas wanted me to chase them though….

yeah, no kidding…! being chased down by two drug dealers' pit bulls from east oakland would not be fun. I don't want to stereotype though -- I've never met a mean pit bull personally -- the ones I meet are adorable and sweet. I always think, where there's a mean dog, there's a meaner person behind that dog --  the person made that dog mean, because trust me, "being mean and nasty" doesn't come naturally to dogs.

Super nice pictures and those dogs are wonderful. Very elegant animals. I'd love to have a dog or two but it wouldn't be fun for the animal when I leave for several weeks a few times a year.

OT: Yup, I'd have to change my whole lifestyle to have a dog; and as a transcontinental person that is not possible. However, when I have a family with kids and a fix home, dogs will be a possibility. There will always be somebody there to take care of them.

I see you are into stereos. What's the amp and CD player you got there? Anthem for the amp? Can't recognize the CD player. Arcam? Did you put an acrylic plate on top against vibrations?

Thanks all! Going to get the 301S hemmed first prior to wearing. I'm only 5'6-5'7.

tfar - You know your stuff! The amp is an Anthem Integrated II and yup the acrylic piece is on top for vibrations on the Cambridge Audio CD player. (My dad is into sound systems)
