Here's me trying in vain to grab the collars of two very fast dogs today. A colleague and I were going for a stroll on our corporate campus and I ran into these two dogs…I was trying to catch them but they proved to be elusive -- which is surprising because most dogs LOVE me and typically gallop on over, smiling, drooling full-speed toward me (often knocking me down on my ass). These two Vizlas wanted me to chase them though….

yeah, no kidding…! being chased down by two drug dealers' pit bulls from east oakland would not be fun. I don't want to stereotype though -- I've never met a mean pit bull personally -- the ones I meet are adorable and sweet. I always think, where there's a mean dog, there's a meaner person behind that dog -- the person made that dog mean, because trust me, "being mean and nasty" doesn't come naturally to dogs.
