Slide Show on the Forum

Shoque is in the process of creating a slide show facility on the forum.  This will enable those of you who like to look at pretty pictures and not be bothered with the need to actually read words, to have your cake and eat it.  By pressing the new "Slide Show" button, you will be able to just view the images that have been posted in a thread.

We did implement it last night but have had to back it out as we have found a couple of issues.  We will re-enable the Slide Show button later this week.

1. Something we can sort out.  The WAYWT thread is too massive for the Slide Show software to cope with.  I will have to split the thread into more than one thread before we re-implement

2. Something we can't sort easily, but you can.  If you load an image that is too big, then slide show only shows a portion of the image.  Prior to implementing Slide Show it was just merely annoying that some peoples pics took forever to load, now in Slide Show, the image may as well not be there at all, so if you want people to see your images, please can I ask you to reduce the size of your image before (or during) upload.  If you use the forum "add image to post" button, you are given size options.  I choose 800x600.  In Photobucket, I have set my default to 1024x768.  You get the upload option window by clicking on the cog…
