Just wanted to show a little love for BiG as they carry a wonderful products, have incredible knowledge and access to hard to find denim, and great customer service! The past few times I have gone in there I have purchased things. If you are ever in NY, make sure you stop in here!!!

because i was looking at the pbj xx-013 and is actually listed under BiG?

PBJ is definitely one of the brands that they carry. I don't see the xx-013, but I am sure someone else might know where you can get them. Also, you may want to try contacting Gordon. He could prob get them for you, or Daniel at DC4…

errr i meant i looked up PBJ xx-013 and it was listed at another retailer which was reworked with larger thigh, smaller rise, and released under BiG. but yeah the store looks realllllllly nice. kind of wish i could buy denim more often!

I think the PBJ xx-013 is only produced and sold in BiG and hence the reason it is listed in Blue in Green under "Brands". It is basically a "rework of PBJ XX-005 with 1/4" shorter rise, 1/2" fuller thigh, and tapered leg." Not a post related to Pure Blue Japan, but when i have dealt with Gordon in the past he has always been extremely helpful and very very quick to respond to my inquiries. Dude is maddddddd knowledgeable. He and Kiya would be one hell of a trivial pursuit team: denim edition.

Can't BIG up(groan) BiG enough on here, brilliant store,stock and staff. Was over in NY back in July and anytime i'm over i always vist BiG ended up coming back with the SDA Kojima's i mentioned in another thread and BiG's own label khaki's in navy

Gordon is super nice, he works the sewing machines like a wizard - he speaks Japanese and on top of that is one of the most modest people I ever met. And his name begins with G…another indicator for being very special...

I phoned from the UK and Gordon measured every single measurement of my purple face PBJs slim fit and they arrived within 3 days!!!
I love them, when I phoned to order another brand (Somet) he told me they would be too big and that he would email me the second that my size in the Skulls were scheduled for delivery.
Now that's what I call brilliant service!
Would love the Canada Goose jacket in sz 2XXS but my credit card is too busy buying clothes that fit to get me to the end of 2011.

Already ordered jumpers for the winter online in bed last night.Coat- deposit, shirts - ordered, just need another pair of jeans and I've spent a billion pounds of sick benefit for my Siamese cats to enjoy looking at!!
BIG is great
But my 3sixteens from Kiya at Self Edge fit better, his service was great too ( did all the measurements on the phone) and the fade is gorgeous.
Wish I lived in NYC- haven't been for 16 years and all I bought then was 2 pairs of Levis (yuk)…. Would never buy them again

Yes, I just use my kids Diesel jeans at night as pjs although don't sleep
Phoned BIG …..big delay in production of sz 00 Skulls- could bec2/3/4 mnths+++- but will be 2011 at least!
Then I can start to bust my budget as usual in 2012!!
