Yes, with raw RRL and Imogene & Willie when I first got them many years ago. Quite a bit with Stevenson overall company denim. More recently last few years mostly with Orslow fatigues.
I’ve found with most denim(not IH) If it doesn’t get wet the transference is sometimes minimal. But I’m sure the protectorate has something to do with it.

Custom JK boots. Saw a pair on their social media years ago this color (not something they normally offer). They called it their "Plum leather". Love the color, though after owning, holy creases and scuffs.

Little project trying to restore the rough out lowers on these work boots. Lots and lots of saddle soap and brushing (and just got my first shoe tree ever). These are 6 years old, spent 95% of their life in the forest, a few wildland fires. Originally a brown smooth upper with a rough out mocha colored lower. Doing one boot at a time so I can see the difference of my labor.
