i love the rc high instep strap , the shape is more good looking

but mccoy chippewa is more comfy , the BILTRITE cork sole is very soft

after some use, i think i will resole mine like this  ↓↓↓↓↓

Wow!  Based on the look of the shafts I'd "guess" cowhide - horsehide is sooo tough.  Great score - those are beauties.

This build is great. I really think replacing some of the speed hooks with D hooks was a stroke of genius Viberg should include in the standard 66 build. These are very comfy. Can wait to hit the trails.

These Viberg hikers have got to be some of my favorite boots on the forums.

McC…be careful you don't break your ankles in those Viberg's. They aren't really good for rocky terrain....for flat stuff they are fine but over the rocks they don't flex enough. I have three pairs of them and use other stuff for hiking.
