My wife can’t stand going to public fitness clubs so I took this lite 8’ or so wide by 16’ room in our basement and turned it into her workout room. Padded floor tiles and a little bit of equipment. I may use it here and there, but I like “dirty” gyms.

@northsouthdenimguy that is quite an effective use of very little space. would rethink the placement of the treadmill, though. i'd leave space behind it, for safety reasons.

Yeah, that’s a good point. We don’t really have any small children in the house but if we did or an adult if they slip that might not be a whole lot of fun…

Edit: although that’s how my wife wanted it so I’ll let you tell her that we need to move it.
