5 confirmed, the furious 5, hahahahaha.

jsj get down with it, promise we will all finish together or get peeled off the cold hard ground together  😉

was looking at the GORUCK site & they say if you can do a 5K you can do a light.  A 5K is only abit over 3miles i would be slow as hell, but i can do that right now.

i am currently trying to talk myself into doing this with D666 in the next month or so.

give me some motivation folks . . .

It will literally re-start and change your life. It'll give you the pep and make focus and ass kicking in the future that much easier. Commit and execute baby. You WILL survive you WILL be a better person for it.

          Motiviational (hopefully), and honest.

A lot of whether I will be able to attend will depend on if we have a government shutdown, how long it will last and if there will be retroactive pay

Jody and I both work for the same agency (same office, technically same job) and a long furlough is going to hurt us pretty bad

In the same boat as you with the government shutdown Dougie, was a time where a government job had a certain amount of security, now it's really comparable on a lot of levels to private-sector jobs.

thanks for the push, i need that sometimes. now to pay the $85 late registration fee for the light and I guess I should start exercising more, hahahahahsh, sheesh

i am anticipating it being like this for the remainder of the term of the current President.  hope things don't go that way but i'm fully prepared for it as opposed to last year at this time.

nowback on track, i've been trying to figure out layers to wear for late October. i'm thinking some of that moisture wicking quick drying stuff so when i get dunked i won't freeze my a$$ off for the next few hours.

i really think this is going to suck, but it will at least give me a better idea of what to expect for March . . .

My Goruck challenge is looming. October 26th, and I haven't done anything physical in over 4 weeks. I'm screwed.

it's a lite we'll be fine. only way i won't be doing it is if  (knock on wood) some unforseen circumstance comes up.

I'm eating a donut talking about doing a GORUCk challenge

                                  nods head & laughs nervously

good luck seawolf, you doing the full blown or a lite/light? i think someone else might be doing one around that time . . . .

looking forward to this as i'm stressed the hell out & this sounds like a cheap vacation, hahahhahaha

That waiver is unenforceable.  Besides, even if it were, if you die, Tuesday and the kids still can sue, since you didn't (and can't) waive their right to do so.
