Depends on the time of year. It's humid as hell here in NC during the summer but this time if year there is none at all. There was a challenge this past weekend in Jacksonville, NC and the weather was a little chilly but beautiful.

You're right, bags.  I didn't really consider that.  If we are able to stick to the March/April timeframe, humidity shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Alright, I realize this probably belongs in the Fitness thread, but I feel like things can get lost in there because it's so large.  I watched this video, among others, to learn the fundamentals of kettlebell technique, while I wait for my CAPs to arrive.

Guys as far as location goes, when I say it will be somewhere we all want to hang out…trust me, y'all are gonna be stoked on the spot. I'm not trying to make this any harder on myself than it's going be already. By the way I like mild climates and sandy beaches....

Great video, thanks! And cross posting in both threads is very acceptable.

Today I found a hill. Then I ran up the hill as fast as I could for 20 seconds, I walked back down for 10 seconds and then ran back up it for 20 seconds more. I did this till I got to the top of the hill. It wasn't a huge hill and it wasn't super steep. It was kinda big and somewhat steep. I kept doing this for a total of ten times. I stopped a few times to drink some water and each time I got to the top it probably took about a minute to get back to the bottom. I was pretty tired afterwords.

                  Get out and do something!!!!

Starting a long stretch at work which means I have to transition to early AM workouts which is a bitch but life could be worse. So today I warmed up on the treadmill and then did a little kb workout with squats, pushups, swings, pullups, and squats with overhead press, 20 sec on 15 sec off, 5 sets only, cause I slept about 15 mins later than I intended to
Oh and I've switched to cold showers and drinking Budweiser, from cans

quite possibly the most effective training tip we have had here so far…

Nice, fellas. I received a shipping notification from Amazon, yesterday. The first of my three kettlebells has shipped, and will be here tomorrow. Of course, it's the heaviest one. I bought them all from the same page. Oh well. Maybe just swings and cleans, for now. Lunges and squats, too.

Weighed my pack today and realized I carry ~25 lbs daily.  Almost there, thank you text books and laptop.

On a workout related note, similar to Adam, pushups till I can't stand it, 5-10 minute break.  Lather, rinse, repeat a few times.

Commute with the heavy pack, and then I finally went running for a few miles after not doing so for that last few months.
