@Lynne while I actually have had students bring me apples over the years, this one I brought myself as I like to adhere to the “an apple a day…” adage. Love this coaster and so grateful to have one!

@ROman my wife made that box for my denim themed birthday party back in March. People put cards in there sharing favorite memories. No way could I not repurpose it. Now kids leave their cell phones in there if they want to borrow a pencil.

Thanks @Lynne! It seems a silly use for this but I really enjoy it. I've also gotten a couple of comments on it along the lines of people being stopped mid sentence with, "...is that a....oh; that is so awesome!"
