@Anesthetist exactly, Junghans is underrated as a brand. I've got also a Worldtimer and honestly they are my go to watches for daily, even between Rolex and Breitling.

Is this room a bit dead? Pity! I've been collecting watches for a long time, and even work on a limited number of them myself. I like restoring old watches and have a fondness for anything before the 60's, though my collection spans over a hundred years with all in pretty regular rotation. Current favorite? I'm looking across the room to see what's on the desk. I see the Cartier tank. I think there's a Seiko MM diver on the winder. There's a chronograph by Unimatic. There's a moonswatch I picked up at a thrift store in Southwold, that I think is probably fake but I don't care.

@truby MoP dials can be truly elegant in the hands of a brand that knows how to use them. They can also be flamboyant. This obviously is the former version. I have an older Hermes Cape Cod around somewhere with a MoP dial and the CC font...it's the only example I have that comes close to looking this good.

                              Is the strap original?

Just got back from Japan. Tokyo is amazing for vintage watches - especially JDM models - so I picked up a Seiko Speedtimer 6139-7060 from my birth year! More than 52 years old but mint dial and original bracelet.
