is cheap against ROLEX!!!thats what I mean and you don't need to worry or take much care of, things like to hit accidentally a stone wall or whatever with a 5000+ Euro watch only to see that you made scratches on to, it isn't the hottest thing… its no classic, but who need the show.... a bit like Iron Heart, quality one a excellent level minus the poser factor...

i wear my ROLEX 16610 about the History and quality….my daily rocker is the 16610!
I rock this bitch every day @ work,i am a mechanic and the 16610 make all things that i make too!
but i think a ROLEX has a real real soul and history OPTIK!......HISTORY=movement 3135,history(Gleitze,Wilsdorf, same Design(oyster case) :-!!! since the 50´s on the Sub,100% autarchic) :-but the U1 is a opinion in my mind!
i love my 16610 an d my 116200 and i never give it away!!!
i think the the U1 is a really good Choice......the history about the u boat steel is really freaky and cool!
Optik is lovely good too!
what i think is not soooo good is the eta movement :-
but i think i get the U1 soon too

What do you guys think of the Luminox 1848.
I dig this style but the price seems a bit high at 450, is it worth it, or are there any similar watches?

I've always been a big fan of the German stuff…Sinn, Stowa, and the independents like Thomas Ninchritz, Dornbluth, etc. Lately my day to day has been my Sinn 757, a TN Regulateur, PAM 000 (non German I know), or a Sinn EZM3. I also love the high end Japanese pieces, especially the high end quartz models. My EDC for about a year was a Citizen Chronomaster (was +1 sec/year on my wrist!). I am still working out how to post pics, but I have some to share.
