It's a 38mm, I think she could have got away with 42mm but she liked that one.

And I appreciate that, Rocket.:) The U1 is a classic.
A few years back there was a limited edition U1 with a full lume white face that I really loved. I still occasionally think about trying to find one.

I can only highly recommended the U1 (btw Alex the factory is only 1 hour away from me, so no online shopping
)You definitely get a lot for your money and compared to others, the asking price is very very fair. I had others and way more expensive ones before, but since I bought this one I didn't feel to go for something else. (beside maybe some vintage Rolex ones that are way out of my budget anyway)
This is my daily rocker since around 3 years and there is not a single scratch or whatever on parts like the rotating ring due this Tegiment harding German submarine steel its made out…

is cheap against ROLEX!!!thats what I mean and you don't need to worry or take much care of, things like to hit accidentally a stone wall or whatever with a 5000+ Euro watch only to see that you made scratches on to, it isn't the hottest thing… its no classic, but who need the show.... a bit like Iron Heart, quality one a excellent level minus the poser factor...
