I am awaiting their return from the cobbler!!

Discussed the work needed with owner of the shop and he decided it wouldn't be too difficult at all.

He is going to build up the heel with leather then sand down all the leather together to get it smooth and consistent, re-shape the heel into a cuban heel, add a vibram heel block and replace front half with a new vibram sole to match existing.

Should a cobbler be able to resole and shape my RW 1914 to the sole configuration displayed on the whites boots? I have been meaning to go about this for a while but I have been a little weary of putting my boots in someone else's hands.

Redwing Beckmans in Black Cherry after a walk up the local hill. Yes, that is what it looks like on the soles.

I can't recommend these for hillwalking as the soles have very little traction in the wet.

Question - If I'm a 11 1/2 US in Wolverine 1000 Mile boots would the 9014 Beckman in 11 1/2 US be a similar fit?  Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm a UK 13, which correlates to a US 14. My (now clean and shined) Beckmans are a US 13, so you could probably go down a size.

I haven't tried on a pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots, so can't draw any comparisons there. Sorry.

Im always a UK9 in most shoes or boots can go with 10-10.5 with nike or adidas. went with 9uk with my RW and think can go with
a half size down. But with an insole the fit is perfect…

Apologies if this has already been covered, but does anyone know a reliable online source for the RW accessories/care & restoration products?  I'm after some of the leather cleaner (item 97107) and leather conditioner (item 97104), but a bit of googling doesn't really turn up much in the way of options here in the UK.

Happy to go outside the UK, but always like to get a recommendation if I can when I do…
