for ingrown toenails, give em a hot-as-you-can-stand saline bath morning and night, and try to give them as much air as possible. wearing boots may not be the best for them….
as far as break-in is concerned, the toe box and the tongue will probably give you the most hassle. work through it, or got for a 5 minute walk, take your boots off, and throw physiotape/leukotape/etc on any hotspots. other than that, thin socks inside a pair of thicker socks will do wonders for reducing blisters in the break in period.
ps. thanks guys, they're a bit over half a year old now. the toebox has gotten the shit beaten out of it from cycling, but i gave them a quick clean & polish this morning and they are holding up solid.

Thanks a lot stever! And really nice what you have done to your boots
Btw my name is steve too haha -
Great to hear! but uh-oh I went tts!
Also hope it doesn't hurt my toe much during the breaking-in process.. Since I kinda have an ingrown toenail..
LOLyou should try them on and if they fit large (which will most likely be the case) you should exchange them.

Awesome pics guys! ::)

more decent deals for a size 10…

OMG! My red wings still hasn't came in yet >:(! When I do get them should I apply snoseal on them right away? Or break em in first?

Hey Nooblet, how did the size work out for you on your GT's?

i find that hard to believe. red Wings are notoriously known to be a size big. but i suppose if the socks are that thick… still, something seems off to me.
