ALDEN
-
twice in one day i agree with finn. i'm not feeling well, hahahahahahahahahaha
-
i swear i felt the same about aldens, but have slowly come to appreciate what they are supposed to be.
have a few pairs waiting for use or a sale. guess i'll decide for sure in about a month or so. . .
-
so no one talked me down from the ledge . . .
-
I find my Alden 405 considerably more heavy then my Redwing 9011
-
you slow you blow finn.
not a fan nameness? is it just the color or something else?
i'm going to look at them when they come back from vacation & make a decision
-
yeah, not sure why but the color isn't my thing. i have no prob with lighter colored shoes but these just feel incomplete to me for some reason. guess that's the idea
i've also seen natural aged and just thought it was ok, not as much evo as the darker brown chromexcel (makes sense of course). but some people like that and maybe the shoes weren't that old/worn. also don't like the laces paired with it but i see why they did… easy to change, though.
are these really your thing? guess you don't know 'til you try.

hope you & arrow's boot goes into production. that would be kind of like a big deal.
when can you release more details in the event i decide to sit out the above indy's.
it's always great to support folks making moves on the forum :).

Not sure also about the status of the boots, Pete. Sure hope it pushed through the decision making tree.
Alden kinda has their own schedule and would modify orders without proper notifications. On another note, I haven't been able to stop wearing my Suede Chukka boots.
I just love how they are so comfortable yet very light. I would really recommend folks to try them -
especially wearing them in warm weather months.I'm also thinking of having my Black Indys resoled with Goodyear sole.
I'll have to drop by the Alden SF shop to see how this process works.
