They don't really go on sale. The Show Mart sells factory seconds from time to time though and you can find some pretty good deals.
Every so often a Jcrew sale coupon works on their Aldens. Most don't work but if you are patient it'll happen eventually.
you can catch a deal on them a few other places too like needsupply and rooneyshop, but yea hard to find aldens on sale.
Speaking of Alden driving you crazy by making you wait - try filing 'exotic' colored shell shoes or boots in your size… anywhere lol
