Tanner Goods

just wondering does anyone own a piece of their standard 10/11 oz leather belt? how does it feel, compared to IHB-02?
-
great stuff, but certainly less beefy that IH. I'd say about 2/3 as thick.
-
I think the tanner stuff varies, I have a black "standard" tanner belt that's about the same thickness as my tan ihb02 and a "heavy duty" tanner that I don't think they make anymore that's definitely thicker and stiffer than my ih belt. I think that tanner hd was sold as 13oz but truth it's probably closer to 15. All nice stuff.
-
Interesting because mine is "standard" as well but definitely a thinner strap than any of the IH 1,2, or 3's I own.
-
The tanner heavy seems to be thicker and even heavier then the IHB-03. I'll have to measure both of them.

yeah I've heard about their "heavy duty" ones but it seems they don't make it anymore.
anyway comparing their natural "standard" ones to IHB-02 Tan, how is it? wish they still have the heavy duty one.

I personally like the IH belts better I gave the tanner to my dad but don't get me wrong the tanner is a beautifully crafted belt.

I love IH belts as well but I've already gotten the IHB-02 and IHB-03 in natural tan. wishing they have it for the IHB-01 in natural tan but they don't.
then SE doesn't have my size.
oh well decided to give local brand OGL a support.

Tanner makes great leather goods. i have a heavy from a few years back that came with a dead stock buckle. the belts gotten a decent amount of wear & the only reason i don't wear it anymore is it's just a little too big for me. for folks wanting to save a few bucks as well as support made in the USA products Tanner is a great investment.
**i'll look for the belt & take a few pictures in the next week or so. it's labeled as a 38 but i never bothered to measure or compare with my IH belts as i just took them to be two different beasts
