post soak. they lost about 0.75 in the waist, 0.5 in the thigh, 1.5 on inseam, & 0.35 in leg opening. i'll give these another hot soak to lose a tad more in the leg & tighten up the seat a bit more, but i think i sized right.

it's been years since i've had new pair of iron hearts, i'd forgotten how much hard work they were to start with! my thumbs are not happy at the moment.

Killer fit Oliver ! I'm getting torn between 666's and 555's next now. Must do some measuring when I get home

Nate u should really consider the 555 cut.  They are better than u can imagine.  The fit is not what people first feared

I am considering it. It between them and the 666's gotta measure up some jeans I have see where they're at and such

Sizing is so close between the 666s and the 555 18oz it's tough to choose between.

i do own both and IMO the 555 is a so much nicer fit/cut and overall feel as the 666Sod…I wear a 34 in the 555-03 and a 38 in the 666Sod.
the 555-03 are a tiny bit roomy in the waist and fitted in the thighs!
the 666Sod are also roomy in the waist and a that loser in the thighs, but with way more room in the knees and hem!

since owning the 634s-raw and now the 555-03, my 666Sod getting no wear at all!
IIRC I wore them for 5 days max. this year...I don't really like'em anymore and consider giving them away!...

post 2nd hot soak. i found things just firmed up a bit more all round, i lost a bit more in the waist but no more on the inseam. getting that top button done up was tough though…

after 2 hot soaks:

waist - 32
thigh - 11
knee - 7.1
fr - 9.3
rr - 14.5
leg opening (on a 31.5 inseam) - 6.8

Just finished soaking my sz 32 and really shocked / disappointed by the shrinkage in the leg opening.. 7.3 after hot soak, about no shrinkage. Everywhere else has shrunken properly though, really strange. Don't really know what to do at this point maybe put them on the market and try for another pair and request they pick out one with a smaller leg opening? Saved up for a while for these and am really let down right now..
