@seano I may have gone with the OG 634's, but I was keen to experience a different denim (my 634s are 1.25 years old). The leather triangle's almost impossible to see(shirt covers), and when the high contrast fades come I'll likely swap them out. It takes me a VERY long time to break jeans, so I feel like they'll get a good wicket. Will eventually get photos in the office but it's a bit of a hassle unless it's a dodgy elevator shot. They're nicely fitted, I'm liking them.

Thanks for the info, Snowy. I've had my eye on these for a while, but I think I'm going to hold off. The inseam just isn't quite long enough for my preference.

I do appreciate your thoughts, though. They are an amazing pair of jeans. I think the details are great (triangle, hidden pockets, etc.). I just wouldn't have thought of them for office wear. Glad to hear that they're working out for you, and I completely understand the desire to want to try new denims. I'm the same way, and, fortunately, there is a lot of new stuff in the pipeline.

They're still going well 2 or so weeks in, between pretty and really happy with them. Still waiting for them to soften up/give a little more. And you're right that there's a lot of wanting to try new denim

Snowy, I'm two months of hard use into mine, and they're just starting to soften… although they're infused with dirt, dust and sweat at this point- that might be keeping them from behaving normally.  I'll wash for the first time right before the 23rd.

I've been wearing mine all summer, and I've lost a little weight, but I've stretched them out a bit as well.  Today is my last day of tiling (thank God- I hate tiling), and the Vulcans will be getting their first wash tonight to get them clean, and to help shrink them back down just a tad.  They're embedded with dust and sweat right now, so I'm looking forward to having them clean!

3 hot soaks, 3 washes, about 9 months wear off and on. I got a pair of 17 oz Samurai Wrangler-RRs to wear while it was really hot out. Since these cause some major bat wings on the hot days.

I had to give these a hot wash since my cat threw up on them. That'll teach me to leave 'em laying around…. It's a shame too, since the combs on the back are only very light in color. Edit: very faint, you can hardly see them at all. Other than the back pockets, it seems like the front of these are fading faster than the back. I was pissed that I had to wash them again.

I'll take some more photos in the sun tomorrow if I get a chance. Getting dark now.

The indigo looks great though- and the leg twist is crazy.  Those are coming along well!  The Vulcans are a hell of a pair of jeans.

^Thanks. I just noticed an erroneous statement in my post though. The honeycombs are only faint. They are hardly showing at all.

It is awesome how luxurious and soft the denim is. These feel like some jersey knit sheets on the inside or a super soft flannel shirt. Sweatpants-esque maybe?
