Hi everyone, I'm Jii from Finland!

I've been lurking this forum for a long time and have always found this forum very friendly so I decided to join (and partly -only partly- because of the 1000 member raffle  :D). Don't have any IH products yet but I suspect that will change sooner or later 

I've been into raw denim for a year and a half now, started with a pair of Edwins and 501 STF:s and was very much set on a pair of TWHR01:s from Giles, but visited Berlin this summer and got a pair of Flat Head F380:s instead from DC4 - and I absolutely love them! Gonna post a fit pic in the "Other brands"-section in a sec.

I'm also a watch freak and have a thing for shoes (sneakers mostly) which seems to be pretty common around these parts. I do a bit of leathercrafting as well, started out with watch bands but also do wallets and belts mostly for me and my friends since I'm still learning but that also seems to be pretty common among denimheads.

What's happening.

New here.  Certainly into Iron Heart, no purchases yet though.  I tend to kill denim real quick, soooo, I figure I need to get with IH.  Looking for advice and such about upcoming purchases and all.

Haven't done a hello thread yet….. so here it is!!!

New member living in Chicago, one of the worst big cities for denim.  Thoroughly addicted to Japanese denim as I have 15 pairs of different brands.  I actually had up to 21 pairs but I have sold off some that didn't work for me.  Also a big boot freak as I have a good collection of Alden and Fry boots (actually just multiple pairs of the same Fry engineer).  Currently working on my shirt collection by buying IH shirts!

Anyway just wanted to say hi!

Yeah, so general beginner questions about IH should go in the general thread I guess? i.e., fit/stretch or where to kop?

Bit of a sneaker freak, got a Harley bobber, been mainly wearing Levi 201s for about 15years  just bought some 634s. Love how they are built. That's me.

On a study break, just wanted to drop in and say hello. I love IH goods, and the winter flannels (IHSH-20) I have in red & blue are easily my favorite shirts to wear when it's getting cold out… If only I could find it in gray too lol. But I'm contemplating buying myself my first pair of IH denim (probably going with the 634s) when I get the cash in hand for it. Ohio winters are a lot worse than one would expect, and I could definitely do with some solid 21 oz. denim in my lineup.

Well, back to studying I go. Thanks for having me!

hey everyone,

thanks to my old friend riffblaster general i have found my way to this site.
when he showed me iron heart a couple of months ago i laughed it off saying something like "yeah right i would never spend that much on a pair of jeans".
well i guess i stand corrected after my visit to self edge in SF two weeks ago.
i put on a pair of 301's and immediately knew i was hooked.
all in all i went to the store two times during my stay and bought a pair of 301`s and two IH flanels much to the dismay of my credit card.
i have never worn anything more comfortable and smart looking.
