Just got my first pair of Samurai (710xx), with the IHSH-64.

One hot soak so far.  Probably going to let them settle and have BiG hem them when I go to NYC next time.  I suppose I could wait to wear them until April 1st for the HWDC, but I have very little will power.

Go for the 1108's mate and keep wearing your old 710's , that's my advise anyway

I know. But I want to preserve the old 710s in that state for some reason and want to have a new pair (1 size up probably) for the HDC. Then with a little hemjob, about 1". Little sag + little stacks for a different fit spiced up with my favorite denim.

Thank you! I will think about it, though I would prefer BB in 18 oz over the vulcan.

In the meantime, you will have to live with my 5000 VX 21 oz, 4 months +/-.

The 710xx is the best fit I've found yet. It really is a great cut, and the denim is pretty awesome as well.
