Anyone else excited about the 2021 F1 season? It's going to be fascinating to see how Alonso performs after 2 years out, not to mention Lando v Ricciardo! Oh, and Sainz in the Ferrari.. and Aston Martin unveiling their F1 livery..can't wait!
And for anyone who hasn't watched it, Drive to Survive (Netflix) is a great watch.Cannot wait for the season to start! Really interested to see Lando v Ricciardo, but might be more intrigued by Verstappen v Checo. I don’t think anyone truly challenges the Mercs but it might be a little more interesting if Checo can pull his weight.

Something new I learned today regarding F1 (Article from BBC discussing Mercedes and Red Bull).
_“Trackside engineering director Andrew Shovlin added: "The wind made it tricky. When the wind is behind the car, you lose a lot of downforce because effectively the air speed is reduced.
"So, some corners where the wind was behind, it was prone to doing that, and then also the tyres are quite easy to overheat on that circuit and if you start sliding, you tend to lose grip and it gets worse. So, there are a few problems.”_

That was truly epic. Great start to 2021. Lando and Leclerc look gold for the future and Hamilton was immense.

Epic indeed! Incredible stuff from Lewis at the end. That Honda engine looks to be a beast - if it proves to be reliable we’re in for an incredible season. Looks like there’s going to be a good battle in the midfield between Ferrari, McLaren and Alpha Tauri too! Hate that we have to wait three weeks for the next race…

Runs turns 4 wide 29 times in a row, nothing happens. Verstappen runs wide once, gets told to give place back. Incredible stuff indeed. Not to mention Verstappen was ahead going into that corner.
on another note, Yuki Tsunoda looks a decent driver. First race and already into the points.

Ha - it was definitely odd how they were enforcing track limits on that turn in particular, but I agreed with the stewards in that instance…you can't have all four wheels totally off track while passing. The fact that Hamilton was able to defend as well as he did on those tires was pretty impressive. As Seb once said "if you're a woman getting a massage like [Hamilton] treats his tires, it's just pure magic."
Tsunoda looked great all weekend - will be fun to see him compete in the midfield!

Wow. Race 2 at Imola was amazing! If the rest off the season is this close it will be classic year.
Lando was as superb as Bottas/Perez were terrible. Lewis and Max are a class apart.
