IHM-53-ODG - 12oz Whipcord Lightweight N1 Deck Jacket - Olive Drab Green
-
With being reactive dyed and the cord collar, look wise and evo wise will it be similar to the 526 ODG?
-
So the dilemma, don't buy one or, if I buy it Mrs C will probably question why I have two jackets that are very similar, OR, buy it and make sure this and the 526 ODG are never in the same room and hope that it’s not noticed!

-
Know this is not entirely on topic to this specific garment but we know whether there's any chance of the navy lightweight version coming back?
-
@muggleclutch not this season. It may come back in the future, but it could be a while.
-
@goosehd Thank you!
-
Can we see the sizing chart before the release?
-
@adambyrtek Not possible, how are they supposed to measure what they don;t have?
-
Just to clarify if you're new, they get the products shipped to them from Japan, the time between them actually receiving anything can vary, and once they have them at IHUK in Gosport they normally list them to us within a few weeks or so and they always post the measurement charts roughly a week before release... Hope this helps!
-
Thanks, I expect these to go quickly so having measurements a week before the release helps with the decision
-
@adambyrtek Giles has elaborated on this here. Plenty of information on the process leading up to a release as well as on how to receive notifications
-
Regarding temperatures: How does the lightweight N1 compare to the IHJ-169 work jacket?
-
@macguffin IHJ-169 has a wool lining so I would expect it to be a lot warmer than the Lightweight N1. The N1 (being unlined) does have a generous amount of room to fit a flannel under!
-
@AdamJ Thanks a lot!
-
Will the lightweight N1’s of this season be the same pattern/cut as last seasons?
-
This jacket looks pretty good to me, so it's probably something I'll be buying. I think it could work well for an Irish summer, as well as spring and autumn. My question is: will it be shorter and boxier like the last seasson N-1 light jacket, or more like the standard N-1 jacket? int the picture looks more slimmer and larger than previous N-1 light jacket.......
-
Well, we'll see how it goes. But if it looks like the picture, I will certainly be buying it. I have to confess, the N-1 jacket is my favorite jacket in my wardrobe. As I mentioned, from spring to autumn, it would be a very good jacket for a mild climate like Ireland's.
-
Will definitely be looking at the size chart for this when it's ready. I'm hoping they fixed the much too small sleeve openings that were on last year's IHM-48.
