Pure Blue Japan Teacore Black Selvedge Jeans
14oz, Slim Tapered & Relaxed TaperedThis is one very special denim from Pure Blue Japan. The weave is made up of a black, sulphur-dyed weft and a brown-core warp which has been overdyed black. If you look closely, you can see flecks of the brown core peeking through the denim's surface. With a little time and wear, the black overdye will give way to earthier tones of tobacco brown. It’s a process more commonly seen on leather jackets, but Pure Blue Japan have replicated it beautifully here.
Available in 013 Slim Tapered and 019 Relaxed Tapered fits. These are also one-washed to soften things up and to remove any shrinkage.

Samurai Indigo Rope Dyed Flannel Shirts
Blue & GreenSamurai’s FW23 flannels are woven from cotton yarns so thick and slubby that they're typically reserved for jeans. When worked into flannel, they possess the look and feel of a hand woven fabric. The deepest blues in these check patterns are indigo dyed. You can expect some beautiful ageing on these flannels as the indigo fades and the other colours mute and mellow over time. Here in Indigo/Blue and Indigo/Green.
Samurai S211BK 17oz Koku Benkei Jeans
Black, Relaxed TaperedThe Koku Benkei jean from Samurai is cut from the brand’s heavyweight, 17oz “Bushido” denim. It’s a substantial and textured selvedge fabric with a prominent hairiness owing to its mix of American and South American cotton. Even at 17oz, this is an impressively comfortable pair of jeans. Here in Samurai’s relaxed tapered fit with its mid-to-high rise, roomy top block, and gentle taper from the knee down.

634 & 888 FitsIron Heart’s “Super Black, Fades to Grey” denim is perfect for those who like their black jeans to age with a little more pop. The blacks of the warp are dyed to fade, while the blacks of the weft are designed to stay put. This leads to some beautifully contrasting, grayscale ageing down the line.

If you haven’t tried these out yet, they’re exceptionally robust and windproof sweaters that exude a luxurious softness warmth. UES No.8 Slub Nep T-Shirts
Short Sleeve & Long SleeveJoining the Puca Purcara Sweaters are UES’ Slub Nep Tees and Long Sleeves. Both are knit using extra-thick, extra-textured cotton yarns. The low-tension knitting process and varying yarn thicknesses combine to unlock an impressive level of slubby, neppy character. Very few tees possess this much depth of texture. Short sleeve and long sleeve options available in an array of new, garment-dyed colours.

Pure Blue Japan Slub Yarn Sweatshirts
Sumi Ink & IndigoPure Blue Japan bring their impressive fabric dyeing expertise to bear on this Sumi ink-dyed slubby crew neck sweater. Sumi ink is traditionally used in Japanese calligraphy. It comes in the form of fermented blocks of pinewood and perfume. The blocks are often aged for years before they’re put to water to create the ink baths in which the fabric will sit for dyeing. When put to Pure Blue Japan’s slub yarn fabric, the dye creates muted hues of smokey, stoney greyish green.
We’ve also restocked the Indigo dyed version of this sweater. Same great fit and classic style, just in a deeper, more saturated indigo colourway.

It’s up there with one of our most immediately comfortable pairs of jeans - no break in required. Now available in 3sixteen’s “Classic Straight” fit. A mid-rise with a roomy top block and a straight leg all the way down.

From the classic collar design to the 1.3mm ‘teacore’ horsehide to the antiqued brass hardware, The Flat Head take everything we love about a great leather jacket and distill it down to its simplest, purest form. A stone cold classic.
Each jacket is assembled, start to finish, by just one person. The stitching of each panel is more akin to fine penmanship. Subtle variances in stitch tension lead the leather to crease, contract, and settle in unique ways.
They’re beautiful jackets that are exceptionally easy to style. Minimal detailing and a subtle drape provide a ruggedly elegant finish that will work seamlessly with any outfit. We now have sizes 42 and 44 in stock. 38/40 were all reserved and we are expecting more in May.

OxbloodThe Flat Head’s Shell Cordovan Mini wallets are back in Oxblood. Artisanal hand stitching meets Shinki’s equine leather tannage expertise to produce an elegant and lustrous wallet. We’ve had the coin pouch removed to create additional card space. This also helps the wallet to flatten over time for a flush, back pocket fit. Expect these wallets to patina beautifully over their many years of service - as shown in the comparison shot below.

The Real McCoy's Type B3 Flight Jacket
Horsehide & Australian SheepskinA real beast of a winter coat, the Real McCoy's Type B3 Flight Jacket is a burly combination of veg-tanned horsehide, thick Australian sheepskin, and cowhide. The varying textures and differing lustres between all three skins make for a beautiful jacket that will only grow more distinguished with age.
The design stays painstakingly true to the B3’s WWII origins - where it kept fighter pilots warm at altitudes of up to 25,000 feet. Finished with The Real McCoy’s fastidious eye for period-accurate detailing - think brass DOT button closures, an in-house replica Talon zipper, and a horsehide-cut map pocket and throat/hem latches.
N1 Deck Jacket
NavyWe now have The Real McCoy’s N1 Deck Jacket in Navy following December’s Khaki delivery. Historically speaking, the Navy N1 predates the Khaki. It’s a much rarer model with a few subtle design differences. Most notably, the alpaca lining extends down the entire sleeve, past the hidden storm cuffs. This feature was originally cut to save material during the war effort, but The Real McCoy’s have chosen to honour it anew.
8HU Twisted-Yarn Flannel
Red/Black Buffalo CheckWe also have The Real McCoy’s Twisted-Yarn Flannel in a mid-weight and textured buffalo check. The shirt gets its name from the coloured threads that are twisted together to make the yarn. This gives the flannel some unmatched levels of tonal variance. The reds and blacks aren’t block colours at all, but a range of subtly different hues and shades. These shirts come one-washed to eliminate shrinkage and really to kickstart that softer, more vintage feel.

Both flannels are woven from hand-picked Andean Aspero cotton. As rare as it is fabled, Aspero cotton possesses a unique combination of strength, warmth, and wind resistance. It’s woven into a thick and heavy 12oz fabric before being brushed inside and out. Twice on the inside, in fact. The result is a plush interior with sweater-like levels of heft and comfort.
21oz Selvedge Denim Jeans
Relaxed Tapered, Indigo Overdyed BlackIron Heart’s 21oz Indigo Overdyed Black denim is now available in the brand’s Relaxed Tapered “888” fit. These 888s start their life as a regular pair of rope-dyed indigo jeans before being overdyed sulphur black. Everything from buttons to seams to selvedge ID is steeped in a coat of black dye that will slowly wear away as the denim breaks in. Their fading is unique - somewhat like what you’d get from an indigo jean but with a subtle, grayscale quality.

Indigo Overdyed BlackIron Heart’s Western-yoked CPO overshirt is made from an 18oz, vintage indigo selvedge that’s been overdyed black. The overdye imparts extra layers of dimension and character to the denim, and adds some impressive depths to other accents like the contrast stitching and chunky, copper snap buttons. The overdye process also piles on a little more heft to an already substantial overshirt. Features twill trimmed pockets, cuffs, and collar.

Pure Blue Japan SLB-003 Jeans
Straight FitPure Blue Japan make good on their reputation for producing beautifully textured fabrics with their 16.5oz slub cotton selvedge. Here, specially calibrated shuttle looms are used to produce a uniquely pronounced weave with an abundance of surface irregularity.
Pure Blue Japan’s SLB denim is a relatively low-yield fabric on account of just how hard it is to make - so grab it while you can. Newly available in Pure Blue Japan’s straight-leg “003” fit, with “019” Relaxed Tapered and “013” Slim Tapered fits incoming in the spring.

The second wave of our extensive Matsuda SS24 collection has just arrived. It’s hard to overstate the level of artistry that goes into the making of these frames. Not only do they call on a plethora of classic, archival styles but they’re all beautifully rendered in hand-sculpted Japanese acetate and finely engraved beta titanium. It’s a beautiful blend of classic design and space-age construction. Each style is also fitted with UVA and UVB-blocking lenses featuring a seven-layer anti-reflective coating for added clarity.
