Watch Shops in Japan.....
-
List your recommended watch shops in Japan here.
I'll start....
Rakuten is a great place for new and some second hand. I have never had an issue (it is Japan of course), but you do need an address in Japan to ship to. And someone Japanese who can actually place the order with ease.

I purchased my first MM300 from them when living in Australia. Excellent service and legit.

Got my second MM300 in person here. Huge range of brands. Excellent customer service and buying experience. They sorted the duty free when I was there.

As per the Watch thread:
They had AMAZING Seiko selection at “Watchshop L - Vintage Seiko”, which is where I bought my Speedtimer. It is also near Fullcount and Freewheelers stores.
Others:
VIN Time - Watch Store
Curious Curio
H°M'S" WatchStore Omotesando
Dazzling
..and don’t forget Nakano Broadway! -
I didn't get the chance to shop in person when I was over there, but hopefully will when I go back someday. These are the online shops I sometimes pop into:
Sweetroad: https://www.sweetroad.com/view/category/new_item
Time Anagram: https://timeanagram.com/en/collections/japanese
From Time to Times: https://fromtimetotimes.com/collections/all
Also had a good experience getting a refurbished 1978 Seiko from Australia-based ebay seller Tempo Prima: https://www.ebay.com/str/tempoprima -
This thread is fantastic. So I guess there are some other vintage Seiko fans in here? That may be worth its own thread...I got a pile of vintage Seiko, lots of JDM, all sorts.

Just to add, you should take your passport with you if you are going to purchase, to get the duty discount in the store.
