On the 2 pairs of 36 and the 2 pairs of 38 we have measured, yes…..

People, these run a little small and there will be minimal stretch in the duck I am normally a 33 in IH denim (of course it does stretch).  If we made these in a 35, that is what I would go with.

Waist on sz. 34 looks good but all the other measurements don't… Sz. 33 is perfect but won't fit waistwise and I know the duck doesn't stretch much, if anything...

Giles-  You may want to adjust the information in the Sizing section, as it appears that there are references to shrinkage which must be for the raw 18 oz. denim 666s.

I'm not having mine hemmed because if the waist doesn't work for me, I'll swap for a 34. So I'll let you know on Thursday (that is if Paula doesn't find another slightly bigger measuring pair)!..

32.5". Pretty worried that won't be big enough, but have to try. The thing is that from experience I know the duck fabric doesn't stretch nearly as much as denim… So if it's too tight from the start, they'll be heading back to Gosport...

Seul, i am hoping the same for me but with a 38w. 37 is basically as snug as i can go and the 13.3 thigh is also about as small as i can do aswell. Really hoping there is a slightly bigger pair of 38's there (fingers crossed)

I think you'll be fine. I just ordered sz 36. I know they're difficult to stretch but I'd assume .5-1" of stretch after 20 wears is totally possible.

I did get 25oz. to stretch

Careful Urbs, Denim is a twill weave and is predisposed to change shape and stretch.  Duck is a "plain weave", that is one thread over another in a one-one relationship, it is not designed to change shape or stretch.
