@cyclops Chiming in as I have some Bronson tubular T’s. They’re fine but I live in Uniqlo Supima shirts. They’re softer, cheaper, more comfortable, and much easier to buy / replace.

@Chibs and @CosmoSix5 thanks for the feedback! Good to get advice from those who have lived experiences, as things always look and feel nice initially but over time whether they hold up through constant use, its good to know....

@Chibs would you say the uniclo supima lasts? I only just bought a few last week, but didnt know whether they are good or not

@cyclops the only problem I’ve ever had with a Supima was my own fault. Indigo armpits are fine anyways. 🤣 Do I expect them to last forever? No, but that’s to be said for any T-shirt. Just wash in cold and hang dry and they should last a long time.
The quality you get for the money you spend on them is crazy imo. I end up spending more because they keep coming out with new colours though. 😅

Lol reading this thread this morning just after I have picked up my t shirt for the day....
True that uniqlo or bronson will give you bang for your bucks (and I'm very confident with my 2 IH ones I've already worn and washed quite some times).
Still this industry is toying with us. The t-shirt I picked up this morning I bought in the mountain somewhere in Thailand for 4 euro, from a nice lady with a smile that said "man I'm ripping you off", and to this day not ONE unstitched seam, no color loss, nothing. Collar still intact.
Only the print has started to fade.
But I bought this t-shirt in 2015, and I probably washed it like 300 times. Normal wash 40°C no special care.

@Slash On the N1s. Mine is an RMC one, but the wool/alpaca in the arms has its good and bad points. It's definitely warmer, but it's also more restrictive and makes the jacket more difficult to take on and off. I generally use mine on really cold days so I'm glad for the wool/alpaca lining, but if I was using it as my only winter jacket I think I'd compromise and get the IH version.

I do wish that the RMC had the alpaca lining in the pockets though.

@NickD yeah if I had to keep one it would be my IH for me too !! 😉
But I have a mild winter mostly here.
To come back to the new bronson @Chibs posted about, I was tempted since I find the cut really beautiful but....no lining in pockets maaan 😀 IH has really killed it with this feature

@cyclops I have non stock, Bronson and Red Tornado tees. I rate them all as good value and nice cuts.

I will opt for non stock in future. They wash and dry well and I prefer their texture. Feel like the knit is more visible and has a softer hand whereas the other feel dry and sturdy.

Broken old houses, boring Scottish whisky, weird Japanese denim, all French wine, sad American music, wool socks in summer.

@Daysleepers thanks for the tip! I ended up buying a few whitesville T's to try out first. But these are next!

I like T shirts from Bayside USA. I've had many of their 6.1oz short sleeves (model 7100). They hold up great and shrink just a tad and have a good fit (on the longer side). Only reason I've replaced them are due to stains. And sub $20
