Bronson Shop/Non-Stock

@Slash interesting remark on IH N1. I’m currently working on a review for it and this is one minor drawback in negative double digit weather. It makes up for it in mobility and ease to slide in and out of though. I’m curious how thick the Bronson’s lining is being 50/50 blend doesn’t tell you. Not curious enough to buy though already owning an amazing MA-1.
-
@Slash so glad I never ordered one. Always at least an inch to short and of those measurements are short... Lol. Summer short sleeve n1!

@CosmoSix5 hey hey! Can i please get your thoughts? Are these tees worth it still? Do you have any colour ones and how have they lasted over mutiple washes etc? I was tossing up between these ones and actually settled on the uniclo supima tee in the end....but have always wondered about these....
-
@cyclops recommend easily. Wearing a white tubular one now. Several washes in. Machine wash and warm dryer. Had one develop holes but it's been the only problem.
-
@cyclops Chiming in as I have some Bronson tubular T’s. They’re fine but I live in Uniqlo Supima shirts. They’re softer, cheaper, more comfortable, and much easier to buy / replace.
-
@Chibs and @CosmoSix5 thanks for the feedback! Good to get advice from those who have lived experiences, as things always look and feel nice initially but over time whether they hold up through constant use, its good to know....
@Chibs would you say the uniclo supima lasts? I only just bought a few last week, but didnt know whether they are good or not
-
@cyclops the only problem I’ve ever had with a Supima was my own fault. Indigo armpits are fine anyways.
Do I expect them to last forever? No, but that’s to be said for any T-shirt. Just wash in cold and hang dry and they should last a long time.
The quality you get for the money you spend on them is crazy imo. I end up spending more because they keep coming out with new colours though.
-
@Chibs hahaha thanks for the feedback! Will keep the tricotine away from the white supima

Lol reading this thread this morning just after I have picked up my t shirt for the day....
True that uniqlo or bronson will give you bang for your bucks (and I'm very confident with my 2 IH ones I've already worn and washed quite some times).
Still this industry is toying with us. The t-shirt I picked up this morning I bought in the mountain somewhere in Thailand for 4 euro, from a nice lady with a smile that said "man I'm ripping you off", and to this day not ONE unstitched seam, no color loss, nothing. Collar still intact.
Only the print has started to fade.
But I bought this t-shirt in 2015, and I probably washed it like 300 times. Normal wash 40°C no special care. -
@Slash On the N1s. Mine is an RMC one, but the wool/alpaca in the arms has its good and bad points. It's definitely warmer, but it's also more restrictive and makes the jacket more difficult to take on and off. I generally use mine on really cold days so I'm glad for the wool/alpaca lining, but if I was using it as my only winter jacket I think I'd compromise and get the IH version.
I do wish that the RMC had the alpaca lining in the pockets though.

IH has really killed it with this feature
